Video: This video gives a closer look at the SDSU Southeast Research Farm (SERF), located near Beresford, S.D. and their 2024 potato research.

This video showcases an organic potato variety trial on the comparison of tilled versus mulched no-till plots completed in 2024 growing season by Joslyn Fousert, SDSU Agronomy Hort Research Assistant. The recording includes information on the methods, findings, and future research as well as information on how producers can utilize the SDSU Southeast Research Farm.

Questions that producers have is a focus that drives outreach and education to continue at the SDSU SERF. Agriculture is continually changing and being educated on these changes is one more tool for producers to have in their tool box as they move forward in their production and legacy they build.
